Is Relapse really that good?

Postby Satan » Nov 10th, '13, 05:10

Yes indeed. So many multies, so many rhymes, I enjoy rhymes very much. The production on this album is purely specially designed amazing poetic crack. Its like Mozart composed it, no wonder on the amazing flawless perfect track Stay Wide Awake he says "I compose art like the ghost of Mozart" in such a poetic way. Its so flawless and perfect, except those last 3 tracks which are horrible and disrupt the flow of such an amazing seamless transitional amazing album. And We Made You, wow. :worship: So many disses, you see. Eminem would never diss anybody in 2013, but in 2009 you could throw ANY line from there onto SSLP and it'd fit perfect. I mean, the controversy this sparked was unreal. I remember my old neighbor commenting that Eminem offended her, and I just...wow. :worship: :worship: :worship:

And Dr. Dre's sound fits perfectly on this. I mean, what other sound could you imagine for an Arabian serial killer who's in love with Mariah Carey and has a fetish for shoving things in people's asses? I LOVE the accent, its so deep and poetic, you see, in 2009, 9/11 was still a huge thing, a HUGE thing. So to actually go out and make an album in the view point of an Arabian was purely fantastic and offensive. And Stay Wide Awake is Eminem's best song to date, I mean, holy shit. He has imagery on this song, which makes it amazing. Much like Big Weenie, with the vivid imagery that makes it an insta-classic. I mean, wow, I never look at spiders the right way again. I mean, wow. Vivid imagery, wow! I really believe that I'm there with Eminem playing hide-and-seek outside of a victim's because he didn't eat anything beforehand. And when he's playing ax like lumberjack and not having gun in hand, I feel so scared like I'm in a dark basement, because he's so vivid with the details. When he's discussing Jabba the Hutt, its much like a creepy Arabian man who has read about our culture, and it really throws it right back at us at how disgusting our culture is. I killed my Star Wars-obsessed neighbor while attempting to shove an umbrella up his ass because of my disgust at him that I realized I should've had because of that line.

In Old Time's Sake, holy...good god. Its so amazing, the way Eminem can purely flow so many purposeful and meaningful words together in so little time. Its much like Soulja Boy's argument against Ice T, in the way that he summed so much stuff up in such little time. Dr. Dre is amazing as usual, such a brilliant writer, can't wait for Detox. The poetic nature of "If at first you don't succeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed, won't hurt to smoke some weeeeeeeeeeeed" is just so zany yet so poetic. It adds comedy to a well known phrase, which has never been done before. :b: The way he uses his persona and his real life back in forth turns it into blurred lines. I can't tell when it's his persona dunking pills into Britney Spears' mouth or Marshall Mathers, the addict. And in Hello, when he says he's looking for a pill in the 1st verse, the way he adds humor to a real situation is purely the greatest thing in our solar system. If there was an episode of Seinfeld where Jerry became a pill-addicted Arabian serial killer, I want Eminem to write it, because he's a brilliant writer when it comes to shoving things up people's asses and roping them shut with a lasso. Notice the poetic style in Relapse when he says "I'm dancing to quite a different drumbeat", he SAYS QUITE! Quite, quite, quite. I cannot get over that, its so bombasticly zany, shoutout to Yeezy in Black Skinhead.

And Refill, wow! Taking My Ball is so zany and perfect, the line about crushing diamonds with his butt muscles is so zany yet poetic. Don't know why its poetic, but it is. I called my grandma "The Fruit Loop From Jupiter" for a week until she died of liver cancer. So zany. I also bought a collection of Tonka Trucks so that I could find any kids and shove one of them in their butthole, I found it funny on Halloween when so many kids came over. So many hateful parents don't understand Eminem. I guess he's just so controversial like that. Music Box is amazing too, the way he talks about food is amazing poetic greatness. Its perfect like that. It gives me the vibe that I'm in Dr. Seuss World and Eminem's The Grinch, which was perfect for my screenplay. The line about tacos is poetry in song form. And when he compares himself to Jack the Ripper, it feels so unique and new. Drop the Bomb on 'Em is too normal for me. He doesn't eat a baby or even rape a baby, he doesn't rape women or shove a can of Pringles with cut up tuna can lids inside in Britney Spears' ass, he doesn't even do the Moonwalk with Dexter in a Spongebob costume. Just doesn't do it for me. The rest is perfect.

All in all, Relapse is a masterpiece except those last 3 songs. I love it.

Yeah it is. And not just for rhymes and production.

For the content, his lyrical style, the way he captures the mindset and writes stories and descriptions, the atmosphere he creates and the scenes he sets...

And many other aspects most Eminem fans are too fucking dumb to understand.

If some of the songs on Refill had been put on instead of songs like Medicine Ball, I might've rated it better.

Yeah, Relapse is so much better than MMLP2 if we will compare them as the albums.

Relapse has that storytelling that makes it so wonderful, much like the works of Charles Dickens. Who else do you know who can name 53 people who's ass he's shoved a soda can up at the exact date, in chronological order?
