A serious album has songs such as Criminal, The Way I am, Till I Collapse, or Lose Yourself. It also has a structured format with proper skits, intros, and minimal girl hooks. No classic songs on mmlp2, sorry. The closest was Rap God. If you really understood the influence of MMLP, you would never have wanted this album to come to fruition. I'm not the only one who dislikes mmlp2. Do a youtube search. You need to very disappointed in the man's album. It is disturbing that just because I'm on this forum, I have to agree with you.

Well MMLP wasn't serious yo...
Em's problem is straddling that line now, he tends to be one or the other... goofy or self-serious.
But he got it right in spots, like on "Rhyme or Reason".
But on MMLP it was a perfect blend. He was funny even when angry and serious and serious and angry even when hilarious and funny. But the album is one big pisstake yo.

Yea, MMLP was a perfect blend yo. I do like Rhyme or Reason though, yo. But we needed more songs like ''Wicked Ways'' and ''Rap God'' yo.

On a 2nd thought, have you noticed how Em went from making a song about his dad to his ex wife?
