I am sort of starting to post more. I really don't feel like I ever have anything to really contribute to conversations that people who share my opinions don't do any better than me. I lurk enough to know what most people here like and dislike. I disagree strongly with some people, but it doesn't bother me because music is entirely subjective. But Hopsinshadie is causing me to not even want to visit this forum anymore, and I have to say something to this little shit.
What the fuck is wrong with you? I have seen you offer 100 different opinions on MMLP2. When the album leaked and Jimmy Conway was fucking around and saying he hated you created a thread and said you weren't even going to listen to it because you share the same tastes as him, then you come back to trash the album even though the person who has the same tastes as you said he was fucking around, and actually enjoyed the album. Then you start saying it is growing on you, and now you are back to making a different topic for every tiny detail you don't like.
Your bipolar tendencies extend to your actual criticisms as well. Saying you want an album full of "Rap God" songs but also that the album sucks because there isn't a song dedicated to his daughters, which only 2 of his albums have, and one of those albums is absolutely horrid and the song in question isn't very good (Encore, Mockingbird. Please, lets talk about lazy writing and shitty flow/delivery).
You also complain that MMLP2 isn't exactly like MMLP, therefore it shouldn't be called what it is. Are you fucking dense? First of all who wants him to rehash shit he did 13 years ago. It is so plainly obvious why he decided to call it MMLP2. The original was an encapsulation of his emotional state at the time. He let loose all the anger and bitterness he had towards and anyone and anything. He reacted to all the criticism and bullshit he was getting from every direction. When you listen to that album, you know exactly how he felt when he was recording those songs. I have seen some people say a better title might have been MMLP:2013. I sort of agree with that. This album wasn't about shoehorning in as many references as he could to an album he made 13 years ago. When he says it is a re-visitation, it means he is looking at themes and topics he tackled back then and looking at it from a new perspective.
As much as people like you bitch and moan, he isn't an angry 26 year old anymore. He is 41. He fucking grew up. I don't get why you want him to force emotions he simply doesn't have anymore. When you say you are mad he apologized to his mom, I truly believe that makes you an awful person. Like, a shit stain on the fabric of humanity, and I don't even feel I need to to elaborate on this, because this shit is already too long.
My overall point is, MMLP2 is a representation of who he is NOW, just as the original represents who he was then. It really is two different people, like it or not. I appreciate this album because of that. He finally sounds like he truly enjoys making music again, and he isn't forcing it like he did his last 2 albums (both extremely average IMO).
The other major point I am making here is that you planned on doing this shit no matter what. You are a troll in the finest sense of the word, and I am feeding your desires, I know. I'm giving exactly what you want because all you truly want is to get a rise out of people. Fuck you.
TL;DR: Hopsinshadie is vaginal discharge mixed with period blood and horse semen.
