Rap God is still amazing

Postby Kill You » Nov 10th, '13, 23:28

Yup. :coffee:

I never skip it when listening to the album. Even though I overplayed it like nuts, it's still one of the better tracks on the album. So great.

There's not really a single truly "bad" song on the album. There's just a song for everyone. Which is great.

But yeah Rape God keep raping.

I never skip songs on an album, I couldn't call it MMLP2 if I removed all the singles, now could I?

I kinda like survival now, it blends in really well with the rest of the album.

The Monster I dislike though, but this album's fucking great overall 9/10

It's the one single that I never skip when listening to MMLP2. I love it as much as the first time I heard it.

Got bored of it honestly. I can't listen to it on repeat but if I comes up on shuffle I will.

Good song.

Well yeah, you will get bored of any song that is released before the album. But if we hadn't have got this track beforehand then I would think it to be one of the top songs.

It's definitely one of the top songs I just got to the point where I was playing it so much I was suddenly rapping along to every line. Even the supersonic part.

It's the best song on the album by a mile, though I have been skipping it just to make room for the new stuff.

''Evil Twin'' had ''Rap God'' Potential, the concept was good, but he held back.

Rap God is NOT the best song lmao I think you're forgetting that Rhyme Or Reason and Brainless are on this album.

Now on reflection, If Eminem had put Survival on the Bonus disk and ONLY released Rhyme or Reason, he would not have needed to "balance" it out by releasing Berzerk, Rap God and The Monster. That song is a perfect combination of all three.

All to say, yes, Rap God is amazing. It would have just probably been more mindblowing in context.

Rap God definitely is my favorite single released off the album. Feels more top 5 song on the album to me than top 3 only because I have enjoyed so many songs off the album. The supersonic flow though :flutter:

I think it's one of the best singles he's released, ever...up there with Lose Yourself and his other classics tbh. At least imo.

I'm not sure I would say ever for myself just because there were some great singles from the first 3 albums and Lose Yourself. But it is probably the best single post Eminem Show
