But MMLP2 feels like a more focused project...I'm sorry EminemBase but I'm talking his vocal delivery and lyrics. It all sounds like ONE idea. Which is what you seem to have a problem with MMLP2 when in reality it's more linear than Relapse is. Relapse is crazy and bipolar...which is awesome. But production isn't enough to put Relapse over MMLP2 for me.
I will officially announce that I believe MMLP2 is ultimately a better project than Relapse. Everything combined just hits and "does it" for me.
I don't even read that far into it.....EmBase sounds he over thinks things....I can listen to Em spittin on MMLP2 and the sound of the vast majority of the songs, and it's better and fresher than Relapse. Relapse is a solid album, but that's it.
I hear the assurance Em has in his voice and rhymes now, which weren't there on Relapse. I hear 18 out 21 tracks he delivered great, real good, good, or solid tracks. I hear a vast diverse of Eminem flows, where he showcases every single type of ability he has on the mic. I hear every single thing we like about Eminem on MMLP2.
It's no classic.....but it's very good. There's a reason it's been his most well received album in over a decade.
