Ah. This is easily one of the top 5 songs on the album to me, (So Far being #1) and every time I hear that line I'm just like and I'm stuck there thinking does Em really not know there is only 30 days in November...or is that just his way of saying "Oh yeah, none of this is true."

To throw my two cents in. I love threads like these. I don't like browsing a 15-100 page thread for a small discussion like this. I seen many good threads just get locked for stupid reasons such as it already exists inside a 200 page thread and we're told to just find it in there and then discuss. Another reason why I just mostly browse threads on here. This is my first time posting in a year or two maybe three now.

Nah, I don't think he screwed up. He's way too meticulous for that, especially on a song this serious.

Yeah I don't really believe that he did, he has to know it isn't a real date, or at least someone definitely told him it wasn't in the process of making the song. Assuming it is about a real relationship (many have pointed out that Spacebound is also about a girl that left after a year and a half, so there is a good chance it is about the same one, and he probably doesn't feel the need to drag her into it publicly as he has in the past. So she remains nameless.) I think it is much more likely he said "Fuck it, I know the anniversary is December 1st but November 31st prevents me from having to do that bar splitting that TRShady hates so much." Or something.

I love this song, but sometimes idk if he's talking from Kim POV or his. And the last verse is the perfect ending for this song. And I like his singing, I was surprised but I like it.
