Are you seriously mad? JT probably has a way bigger target market than Eminem at this point.

JT had more hype since he was away for so long, and he had more exposure since he's in the public eye much more than Eminem is. If Eminem could promote his album from his house, he would.

780k for a rapper who's been in the game 15 years in an age of downloading is great. And that's physical copies. You already know he sold a fuck load off itunes. I bought mine off itunes, as did most I know. We don't count but we should.

Blows my mind that he has 77million fans on facebook and doesn't even tell a million copies.

But those 77 million are global and globally he will sell over 1.2m first week. According to facebook his most popular location is Mexico City.

Hate to bust anyones bubble about FB but those Likes mean absolutely nothing considering a large majority of the likes come from spam bots. All Interscope artist have them and they increase the pages likes daily by the thousands. You can tell if a page has more a lot of "bot likes' by clicking on the number icon and see where the most activity for the week occurred, if they are middle eastern countries, or Mexicio city etc, that means the likes that week came from bots, look at Gaga, RiRi and you will see the same place as Em. for most likes that week. Also keep in mind the average 'real person' has mutlitple profiles plus gamers run hundreds of profiles.

Im not saying Em isnt the most popular but if FB limited likes to actual people, most artists and co's like would be less than half of what they are. FB does nothing about it even tho its well know b/c it boosts their user numbers and artists dont mind b/c it gives boosts their profile but that doesnt mean 77 actualy humans "liked" em's page.

This includes iTunes. iTunes counts towards these numbers.

Shit really? So this hits daily double counts all sales, physical and digital?

Soundscan is different right? They only count physical copies?

My bad then. 780k is still solid and he'll be platinum by the end of this week or next week at the latest.

Y'all are acting like Em was going to sell a milli or something. In 2013, 780k is extremely good.

This is unheard of, for a rapper to sell this much after being in the game for 14 years or so, and to sell this much as a "Rap Artist" is unheard of, Em truly surprises me, his fans I mean, their so loyal. I can't believe some of you call this just "decent" no, this is amazing shit.

As for JT... eh don't really care, not really fan lol

Eh almost 800K. But it's still the best selling first week rap album of the year.

More than Recovery, right? :worship:

Yeah it sold more than Recovery, his number of sales keep increasing when he releases album after album lol, Relapse did like 600,000, Recovery, which was promoted way more than this, sold less than MMLP 2.

Truly amazing

I wanted him to do a Millie, it sounds childish but its the truth, I'm just being honest :(
I wonder what you will be saying when Em sells 200,000

That's whats amazing about this, you'd think he'll sell less because of the content of his album, yet he always gets close to a millie.

200,000 IS sad for his standards, 700,000 is not lol
