It wouldn't even make sense for it to match the sales of the last album.

If the album was as good the sales would be as good. It's that simple.

The quality of an album doesn't dictate it's sales.

Proud of Em for doing nearly 800k. I'll take that.

So this must mean this album is amazing to most.

To suggest it does in a strictly linear way is idiotic.

Pop singers who don't even write their own lyrics sell multiple times more than talented underground/indie/undiscovered/independent artists.

The so-called 'Jesus album' Relapse sold 100k less than the so-called 'worst album ever embarrassment garbage lets talk bad about it' album Recovery.

First of, it sold 792k.

Second, other than Adele. Who has sold more records than Em in the last 5 years?
And if we go by your logic, MBDTF was pretty shitty because it didn't even break 2m.

Please stop trolling and get back to whatever you were doing, it'd still be more productive than trying to be an idiot.

P.S. The album has over 3m streams on Spotify US

I'm legitimately watching a documentary on gay muslims, so I thought I'd stir one up for some fun :sweating:

Slik, stop being ignorant.

Record sales are half what they used to be. Tons and tons download illegally or just download the couple songs they REALLY like.

Where as in 2000, if you heard a song or two you liked, youd go out and buy the album.

Had this or Recovey came out in 2000, they would have done 1 million plus.

I wonder if it'll have Recovery's longevity though. In the long run it may not sell as much, but these are very good opening week numbers.

WTF

I'm honestly just telling you to stop because we have so many sheeps here and they will believe whatever some members say.

It's for my "Philosophy of Psychology" class, I'm doing an essay on it. It's not at all disrespectful or anything, more of an exploration of different societies worldviews. It's interesting.

Aigght I'll stop the trolling. Sales don't mean anything. MBDTF still tha GOAT!

Well, in 2014 he'll visit Europe and Australia so that's good.
We have the grammys and the holiday seasons, i'm sure sales will be great in the coming 6 weeks.

And I hope he tours the U.S or make 2 huge concerts and get it over with, quickly.

I forgot about holiday sales.
