Em too complicated for his own good

I love him endlessly fucking with his rap style.

For me it's what makes him exciting, because I always know he'll try push it to new heights... whether you or others think that = 'all over the place'... doesn't sound like that to me ears. It's just not conventional flows, it's experimental but it's on-point, precise, clear, catchy.

I have a ton of usual Em flows. Glad he's constantly trying to create unusual ones.

But TES was where he was really an instrument to the song and IMO that is the superior musical flow.
He would intertwine his words with the beat in a way that made them so much in unison it was difficult to tell which part you were really vibing with.

THIS. like i said MMLP2 is a great album, better than SSLP in my early opinion, and as dope and off the wall all the rhyme schemes are, for a "revisitation" to the original MMLP none of the flows are even close to similar, even though the over all feel of the album is very reminiscent. I think we can all agree how amazing Em is technically, there was no need to show it off on the ENTIRE album.

Post Rehab to me it seems he is really focused on creating flows and rhyme schemes that rappers can't reproduce.. it doesn't make for great music but it will establish that without a doubt he is one of the most technical rappers to ever do it.

His flow on MMLP2 is flawless in a technical sense and would probably be impossible for 99% of rappers to replicate anything like it and allowed for Relapse-level rhyming (without the accent)..

But TES was where he was really an instrument to the song and IMO that is the superior musical flow.
He would intertwine his words with the beat in a way that made them so much in unison it was difficult to tell which part you were really vibing with.

There are certain flows on TES that are much easier to replicate than MMLP.

Becoming "an instrument to the song" (as he is on Business, basically) is much easier than the flow he does on Who Knew, for example. It's just a matter of monotonously landing syllables in the right place, rather than sounding like you mean what you say...to completely steal EminemInsider's material.
