I don't edit it, and I don't skip anything anymore. I love how everything flows into itself.

How do you skip Headlights, Love Game, and So far.....how people cant see those last two are classic shady humor is beyond me.

I get skipping Asshole if you dislike the beat but it doesnt bother me too much now.....em drops bars in that one. The only two I skip all the vb time are Survival and Monster, and Berzerk I need to be in a mood to listen to.

I think the original track list works, but I like altering it sometimes. My current list would be..

01. Bad Guy
02. Parking Lot (Skit)
03. Rhyme or Reason
04. So Much Better
05. Asshole
06. Groundhog Day
07. Legacy
08. Don't Front
09. Berzerk
10. Rap God
11. Brainless
12. Stronger Than I Was
13. Beautiful Pain
14. Headlights
15. So Far...
16. Love Game
17. Evil Twin
18. Wicked Ways
19. Ken (Skit)

Bonus:
01. Survival
02. Baby
03. Desperation

Like I said, I think the original tracklist flows pretty well. But this lists fixes some of the questionable transitions like Legacy into Asshole, So Far and Love Game before Headlights. As well as add some really good transitions, like Groundhog Day into Legacy, and Don't Front after legacy, Don't Front with Berzerk fits well too.

I haven't edited the tracklist at all, I just skip Survival, The Monster and Beautiful Pain most of the times.

Aone10 wrote:With a release as huge as an Eminem album, you can bet your ass there is plenty of politics/compromising behind the final track listing.

I don't see the harm in altering a track listing tbh.... especially when a majority of us are on here saying "fuck he really should've put this bonus song on the album instead of this". We aren't leaving songs off the album, we're just putting them on the bonus disc....

At the end of the day, the album as it is, is still a solid 9/10 in my book... but this would be a 10/10 imo

1.Bad Guy
2.Parking Lot (skit)
3.Rhyme or Reason
4.So Much Better
5.Groundhog Day
6.Brainless
7.Baby
8.Rap God
9.Asshole
10.Legacy
11.So Far...
12.Don't Front
13.Headlights
14.Stronger Than I Was
15.Evil Twin
16.Wicked Ways

Bonus Disc

1.Berzerk
2.Desperation
3.Love Game
4.Beautiful Pain
5.The Monster

Call of Duty Bonus: Survival

I feel like the songs I put on the bonus from the original track listing are the songs that felt like fillers. Give my version a listen....

Well my edited track list is the best but this one comes in a close second but beautiful pain is legit.

Love game and so far don't even make my edited track list. Easy SKIP. I like raw shady over goofy tracks.

But his flow on So Far isn't bad, and Love Game he goes HAM on that last verse.

You need a couple lighter tracks like that. Part of Eminem is humor, and those two are his funnest songs in years.

1. Bad Guy
2. Parking Lot
3. Rhyme or Reason
4. So Much Better
5. Asshole
6. Groundhog Day
7. Legacy
8. Rap God
9. Baby
10. Brainless
11. Stronger Than I Was
12. So Far...
13. Beautiful Pain
14. Love Game
15. headlights
16. Evil Twin

Bonus
17. Berzerk
18. Desperation
19. Don't Front
20. Wicked Ways

Fuck Survival and The Monster

Asshole after So Much Better is perfect. With the song ending "I'm just playing bitch you know I love you".

That's what most of these fake tracklists don't seem to understand. The ending of the song has to fit or flow into the beginning of the next. I had a hard time finding where to put Beautiful Pain, but it fits pretty well between So Far and Love Game.

It seems most of the tracklists in this thread use all the songs and are 15-17 tracks long. Well, there IS filler on the album and making it shorter and more concise would make it better. Particularly how he does the same thing twice e.g.

So Much Better and Love Game- Hoe bashing
So Far, The Monster- Fame
Brainless, Legacy, Groundhog Day- Em as a kid
wicked Ways, Rap God, Survival- Spazzing
Evil Twin, Bad Guy- Shady Vs Eminem
Beautiful Pain, Stronger than i was- obvious motivational tracks

so, i like the duality also but sometimes 3 songs of a similar kind dilute the previous track. In fact, i prefer it when he incorporates that duality in the same track. Something like Asshole were there is regret for saying those things AND a desire to continue to do so. That struggle is then fun.

Mine,

Bad Guy (good intro)
Parking Lot (for criminal, read asshole)
Asshole
Brainless (musically more consistent than Legacy)
Legacy (clearer picture of previous track)
Rhyme or Reason (change of pace and tone. Add humour)
Rap God(I'm back at it again, from whose your daddy, and the gay insults here works)
So Much Better (continue to be controversial and intense)
Wicked Ways (reduce intensity, enjoy words)
Ken Kaniff change of pace
So Far.... (after the reflection and nostalgia, his world outlook now)
Headlights (his outlook now in terms of his mother)
Evil Twin (looking into the future, address past and present)

Bonus Disk
Berzerk
Groundhog Day
Baby
Love Game
Stronger than I was
Beautiful Pain

Cod bonus: Survival
Songs of the year

Tech N9ne- Gods, Ft Krizz Kaliko and Kutt Calhoun.
