I like Death Note (more than the manga version)/ Monster/ and prty much miyazaki movie is welcome/FLCL/Dead Leaves/ Akira was alright/ and Samurai Champloo and Cowboy bebop.

I only rly shit on the animes that adapt long running series and look like it has korean sweatshop workers doing, it. I mean come on compare the animation quality of a short series (let alone a miyazaki movie) like cowboy bebop to something like any long running anime, lol

As for people taking shit about the anime, I don't blame ya'll. But the anime is a distroted warped version that was dragged on too long of a much sleaker condensed story. Seriously it takes 5 episodes for planet namek to blow up whereas it took like a chapter or so to do that in the comic. Basically, people who talk shit about dragonball the series but are misdirecting at the anime need to actually read the comic, it's much much better than your childhood nostalgia would have you remember.

Very true. The comic was actually amazing. I owned them all, and the Cell saga didn't bother me because I liked the serious aspect of Dragon Ball Z too.

I wouldn't say the show ever truly "fell off". every saga had it's ups and downs. Hell, the Frieza saga is arguably the greatest one and even that has it's faults. I'd say the only true "bad" saga was the Android saga. That shit was boring.

The piccolo scene where he faked out being knocked out and shot a hole through goku's chest as well as breaking his legs was a top 5 scene in the entire dragonball series (that includes DBZ). He was such a ruthless motherfucker.

Also yajirobe cutting off Vegeta's tail was also a goat moment.

Uh that's the whole point, loll. It's this coward who's been rather irrelevent as a character but actually mans up and does damage to the considered invinicble antagonist at the time, it would have been much less gratifying if goku or gohan did that. Come to think of it I wish yamcha did that too bad he got killed by those stupid level 1 plant soldiers.

When DBZ still somewhat cared about it's cast rather than just making it saiyans and humans the anime, it was awesome.

I absolutely HATE what they did with Dragon Ball. I hate the music, the voices, everything they did with it. I honestly get mad whenever I youtube some Dragon Ball videos and they're subbed.
