I'm sorry, I have praised MMLP2 on this forum, I've talked about how I love MMLP2 and I've said how it's better than SSLP in my opinion but I'm not copying Pitchfork when I say that line was bad, I don't care if it's a literary device. I've heard argument on how it's describing how ridiculous the idea is but it feels like a bad Encore lyric. That line is worse than anything on Recovery including the Donkey Parkinsons line and the Window Pain line. I heard that line and though it was bad on first listen. I don't see how you can call it good when he's talking about a flying saucer with a pig and italian sausage that makes no fucking sense and doesn't relate to anything else in the song. He could've wrote a million other things but chose that. WHY!?! I'm not gonna say it drops the song but it's not a good line and I could go without it

I think that line is stupid but at least it wasn't in a serious song. Also I'm not praising the line either. I just hate when people defend lines, if nobody brought it up I wouldn't care but there are people on this forum talking about how good the line is.

That's completely different, he didn't say that on a serious song like Legacy. If that line appeared on Rock Bottom everyone would be like "wtf"

Yeah but it's angry sarcasm...

The song is serious but it's Eminem releasing thought, he's always sarcastic, and angry. Even in serious songs... in "The Way I Am", in "Sing for the Moment"... just a different style/terminology.
