(whilst associating phrases in general is not that hard... it's good how he makes them consistently relevant to his nihilistic and mean-spirited character).

And I've said it 20 times already but fuck "Baby" is fucking good. Some of his best rapping ever.

Some of his continuous word association puns on "Wicked Ways" is good as shit too. His 2010 puns are almost all abysmal but almost all MMLP2 puns range from decent-great, and on these bonus tracks - some of his wordplay and association of phrases is off the chain... he doesn't get enough credit for some of this detail which even good wordplay rappers don't do in such extreme ways.

For a while (Encore for sure) Em was slumping in to this super-literal kind of mentality with his writing, just constantly explaining himself or telling a very somber and honest story... it's nice to see him being so creatively playful and passionate with every aspect of lyricism again.

Honestly man, even if people don't even like the music, Em truly SPITS on this album and spits fucking well. The weakest verse from him is his second Berzerk verse. The rest of the songs, Em is so good on this album I'd even go as far to say that he is as good as he was back during his peak.

All of that makes perfect sense and would be a totally natural expression with or without those word associations... they seem totally incidental... which is the level he was at in his prime.

Like Relapse...maybe if he had replaced weak tracks with some Refill songs then it would be rated better as well. That album you have is pretty much almost perfect.
