Eminem: 'Macklemore Is Dope'

Em does say everyone's dope......BUT......the only two rappers recently he said he's enjoyed their albums are Kendrick and Macklemore.

Macklemore is dope. He's not horrible technically, he's not bad as a technical emcee, and what he lacks maybe in flow or lyrically, he more then makes up for with what he's saying, and his passion with his music. Ten Thousand Hours, Thin Line, Same Love, Make the Money, Neon Cathedral, Jimmy Iovine, Wings, A Wake, Starting Over are all dope off The Heist. His singles aren't terrible either. I'll listen to Can't Hold Us, White Walls, Thrift Shop over 90% of mainstream hip hop radio shit any day.

People are either ignorant, and hate the fact he said Macklemore is dope.

Yes, Em does say EVERYONE is dope................

But

Only Macklemore and Kednrick did he elaborate on why, and actually praise their albums, as far as rappers he's recently talked about. I don't disagree.

Kendrick, Macklemore, Cole, mainstream rap is looking a lot fucking better than it did in the mid and late 00's that's for sure. Not to mention other young up and comers who could potentially blow like Logic or Joey badass.

Thing is, no one knew Mackelmore when the album dropped initially, well what I mean is he wasn't known in the mainstream. I didn't even heard The Heist when I bought it in October 2012, before he blew with Thrift Shop, and I think "DAMN THIS IS GONNA BE BIG".

Even if you hate the guy though, I gotta give credit to the fact he blew bigger than any independent rapper ever. The guy went platinum in 2012-2013 as an indie artist.
