I'd throw in Baby and Desperation.

I dunno man... I like them both - especially "Baby" (dope AF).

I think "Desperation" could fit, but neither feel essential, "Baby" doesn't sound like it fits for some reason, seems like some 03 shit... though could kinda go wit "Rap God"...

I dunno, I feel at like 12/13, the shit becomes even stronger.

Most of Em's albums would improve if you cut a track or three... he does have a habit of slightly overdoing his albums. I ain't complaining too much, I love how much music we get but still.

I'm playing the album in this order now, and it's seamless as fuck.

Makes so much sense to end on "Headlights" too, and have "Evil Twin" within the album... after "Rap God" actually makes a lot of sense too... it's like he's addressing all the shit he just said and then ending the debate by declaring there is no difference between him vs. Shady.

"Groundhog Day" fits as fuck right after "Legacy" and leading in to "Berzerk".

I love "So Much Better", but its placement feels kind of blatantly weird and out of place right after "Rhyme or Reason"... just like, a big bold 'bitch track', seems like a later album cut.

I mostly agree. IMO, even Rap God doesn't quite fit the album. It seems more like a hype track, released 2-3 months before the album, but not bein on it. And yeah, neither does Baby. But that's the thing, deciding whether you should include a great song (eventhough it doesn't quite fit the concept of album) or just stick with the tracks that conceptually have the same vibe, but they ain't as great as throwaways.

I also agree about his habit of overdoing that you mentioned. I think it has something to do with how much material he records in the process. Even i'd be like 'shit, I did like 50+ songs for this album, I can't just put 12 on it."

And yeah, it should have ended with Headlights.

It feels lyrically and conceptually, but musically it doesn't deserve to be there.

My opinion...but I'm just saying because Baby is like one of his favorite songs from this era (and mine too).

While on the subject though, would you rather have Survival or Baby on the album?...

I like baby more, obviously, but Survival fits more. But if I'd had to chose a song to replace survival it would be GD

Groundhog Day most certainly fits right after So Much Better. Idk I still would have put Baby on the album anyway. No particular subject but that doesn't make it bad to me by any means...I enjoy the beat and the rapping a whole lot. Baby sounds like something he could have made in 2003.

But the song itself doesn't make any sense. Even if the rhyming is great, after some time I would realize that it's just a filler
