Can you argue that since Encore, Eminem keeps improving?

I realized something. People always put Em's first 3 cd's on a pedestal and maybe rightfully so. But it seems like fans are rating every cd better and better since Encore.

Encore (though I like it) is considered Eminem's worst album.

Relapse was a big comeback for Eminem, according to many fans, ad most said it's better than Encore.

Recovery exploded in sales with Not Afraid and especially LTWYL, Em became more relevant. but more importantly it was received much better by most people. Although some true fans put Relapse over Recovery, the majority of people look at Recovery as a better overall album.

And MMLP2 is getting excellent reception. Almost Everybody says it's better than Recovery.

So imagine how good the next album will be.

It can be argued, yeah. Whether or not Relapse is better than Recovery is up to the listener, I personally believe that it is because it flows better as an album. Recovery was to get the limelight back. But MMLP2 is better than both of them.

Then Hell: The Sequel, which got good reviews, I think is when things changed. He realized he enjoyed making the BME songs so that's the lyrical direction he took for this album.

Now I don't know where he's going to go. I think he has one or two more albums in him then he'll retire for solo albums. But I do know, and hope, that he starts to produce even more and maybe his next and last album will be mainly Em produced. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of Em production on MMLP2, he pretty much produced half the album, so maybe we'll get that perfect Eminem album pretty soon. MMLP2 was close, but it's not quite there. I don't think he's quitting until he makes an album that is universally acclaimed. MMLP2 is almost that but there are still a few doubters and haters. He will try even harder to shut them up next time. He shut up most of them already.

He's just been slowly ironing out creases in his music as he goes along. Got rid of the accent, but this problem was replaced with awful punchlines...so he toned these down too. But he never realizes these things suck as he's making the album...he needs fans on the internet to point it out. Which makes you think he doesn't really know what he's doing anymore.

Relapse and MMLP2 were great albums, though.

I honestly am in the very few minority cuz I think that Encore was just a bit better than Relapse and I thought Relapse was a lot better than Recovery but MMLP 2 beats the 3 albums I just mentioned by a long shot. Of course this is only my opinion...
