Recovery to MMLP2 is a huge improvement. For the first time since his comeback, I felt like it was 2002-2003.

From Recovery to MMLP2 without a doubt. The difference in quality is unreal, I can't believe how much I loved Recovery at first. It was just new album hype at the time but tbh it's a sup-par project. Still a great album, yeah, but for Eminem I think it sucked. Not worse than Encore but the next worst thing. The punchlines and concepts were just too bland on that album.

He improved considerably from Recovery to MMLP2. MMLP2 he brings great lyrics, concepts, variety, and flows. That was what he was lacking on Relapse and Recovery, though I love the fuck out of Relapse. I can recognize its flaws and feel safe putting MMLP2 over both Relapse and Recovery. Most certainly above Encore.

Voted Recovery to MMLP 2 definitely! I also felt Infinite to SSLP was a major improvement too! Infinite to SSLP and Recovery to MMLP 2 were huge turning points in his career to be honest. I mean I can only hope that Em continues in the direction he's gone with MMLP 2 and not return to any Recovery style at all.

Encore to Relapse by far. Going from making songs like Big Weenie and Ass Like That to Deja Vu and Stay Wide Awake is remarkable. Especially considering Relapse was the first album he made completly sober.

Obviously from Infinite to the SSLP.

He mastered the art of crafting an album, delving into new subject matter whilst ensuring that his lyricism was on point, but easily listenable and equally commendable.

People are going crazy over the improvements between Recovery and MMLP2, but this is only because Eminem was reaching back into older subject matters which became more familiar once he was deep into the project. It was like reuniting an old friend. Relapse showed that Eminem had the lyrical skill, we already knew he could master different flows, so really it was just getting to grips with the subject matter, which was arguably assisted by the help of Rick Rubin and the aforementioned fact that he had a clear direction.

The improvement from Infinite - SSLP cemented his status as one of the best rappers to have ever picked up a mic. SSLP is such an under appreciated album on this board. It is extremely cohesive. I would go so far as to argue that, artistically, it is better than the MMLP as a singe product.
