I don't think making fun of gay people means you hate gay people. What the fuck, everyone should be open to mockery. Heck, I believe in God and listen to rappers who talk about murdering preachers and stuff. Music is music. It's one thing if someone's writing a message song, trying to make a point. Critique that. But a lot of rap lyrics are...rhyming for the sake of making witty bars to impress fans. It's not meant to be taken as a literal representation of their mindstate.
Agreed. If he made a song like Same Love, but was dedicated to telling people gay people shouldn't get married or shouldn't be equal, then I would understand. He mocks Christians, women (raping, kidnapping, killing), people with parkinsons, retarded kids, paralyzed people, killing your family, killing babies, ass fucking a monkey (and a mannequin), getting raped by his stepfather, car (and plane) crashes, tourettes,...........but "fag" is taking it way too far. I've just had enough with this "gay lookin boy" stuff.
