Eminem's movements

Postby JAGODA » Dec 12th, '13, 18:31

Today I've been watching some old Em's videos and I have to say 2002 Slim was the GOAT rapper (he's still the best for me, though) but all the stuff around Em was absolutely powerful, including his movements at his concerts.

I looked at this performance of Business (by the way, one of the best Em's songs for me):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Xna2lbejMs

And his movements were so damn good, he was awesomely comfortable at the time, he was moving to the rhythm. It was amazing to see his performance.

At the end of this weird thread, I have to say that his movements are getting better and better at this point. Do you think he'll able to move like in 2002 at some point? I hope so. :D

Yes I've noticed a dramatic improvement in his movements during this era. On the video for survival, he moves identically to his early stuff..

Yo, Jagoda. Agree with you. By the way, he also showed his belly during Stan performance on his recent concert.

He's been doing that for a few years now.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

The baggy pants were the reason why he was moving like that

As Noddy said, part of it is because of the baggy pants. In fact, the closer he's ever came to his 1999-2006 moves is in the Berzerk alternate video (the one for football), where he wore his '99/00 baggy clothes.
I hope he'd still do those movements. He still can.

Check this performance of Business from 2005:

He could no longer move like that at the time because he was fucked up. Honestly it doesn't care whether he wears baggy pants or not. The video above proves it.

That's because he was on drugs. But his movements are still better than what he does now.

Lul. Wat da hell is this thread for. He's 40 some years old, he isn't going to be running back and forth the stage like he's 30 some years old.

Well, sometimes, when I feel really stannish, I watch performances of the same song from different years, and I analyze his voice and movements. It's fun.
