Because MMLP2 is an Eminem that's truly inspired and on top of his game again. He displays genuine confidence that's been lacking since his comeback. The concepts are a heck of lot better than the cliched type ish on Recovery. His flow is more natural than the forced delivery he spat on Recovery (if you can't hear that, then i feel bad for you son)
The Production is fookin nice brah.
And as far as the "corny punchlines" go, they're few and far between and take nothing away from any track at all.
In conclusion.. This is the best Eminem as been in a long time, Spitting his elitist emcee skills over dope production..

Listen to the 2 albums back to back and if you're still asking the same question...then I don't know how to help you.

i wasn't expecting eminem to be as genius as kanye ofc

Sorry, mono.

Anyway, Em doesn't change his style and the overall sound a lot, from an album to the next one. So, that's it. :y:

and no he did change his style and overall sound a lot but he just didn't on this album which leads me into thinking that he finally stopped thinking outside the box and pretty much lost his artistic sense by doing so, now he just raps

I do like Yeezus, breh, I was jk.

And yeah, with that I agree. He even said 280 times on recent interviews: 'I just wanna rap. I just rap. That is all I do.'

His next album will sound however you want it to sound, tbh.

His next album will be a second greatest hit compilation--mark it.

I don't dislike Yeezus, but come on...Number 1 Hip Hop album this year on so many lists is pathetic. I feel the same way about Yeezus that you do about MMLP2 except I would lower the rating to a 6.

Fuck Yeezus, this isn't about fucking Yeezus but about MMLP2 and Recovery. Hah hah mono you got the Stans going again you can drop this little troll you're trying to pull off.

almost famous was a concept

and everything u said just confirms my point it's the same just improved and more confident

LAL.
I would also like to add that with Recovery his aim was to redeem himself for relapse (his words), so he laid a lot of personal shit, which pretty much made it a serious piece of work with hardly any humour throughout the album. With MMLP2, his aim was to show all aspects of his Personality in a more balanced method, which people can agree that he succeeded in doing.
So that's another major difference between the two albums.

He uses the delivery from "Underground" a lot more on this album than his Recovery hoarse-voiced shouting delivery.

I have a feeling he recorded "Berzerk" because he feared the album sounded too much like Recovery. Hence the bizarre deliveries he uses and different sound.

I do know that Berzerk was recorded close to last if not last but it doesn't sound anything like Recovery, still lol. I think he recorded it because he needed a first single.
