I for one had a best friend who that song fucking clicked for on all the references. His girl left after a year and six months, not longer wanting him. He was devestated and angry because of the sudden betrayal etc.

All sadness aside it was fucking magic listening to that song while looking at him lol.

My point: no song is gay unless it actually talks about fucking men in the ass and enjoying it.

Do you believe that humans need meat to live a healthy lifestyle? (Don't get this confused with healthier lifestyle). Because if we don't need to eat meat (which I believe is the case, due to all the healthy vegetarians on the planet) then killing animals is not necessary. Therefore, we shouldn't kill them.

That was the line of arguing.

Only disagreement could be that we do in fact need meat to function, which I said beat down my argument, if it were back up by evidence.

Finally, I said I don't care enough about killing animals, because meat is so nice and brings pleasure that I'm not a vegetarian.

How do you go about proving that we don't need to eat meat? Sure, you can show me a bunch of individuals who have not needed to eat meat to be healthy, but that doesn't prove that "humans don't need to eat meat."

Not only have humans evolved to eat meat, but the economy evolved with them. Millions of people's livelihoods depend on the production, consumption and purchase of meat. They need humans to eat meat to put food on their table...delicious food like chicken.

Well, I personally don't think it's that controversial to think you can live a perfectly healthy life without ever eating meat. There's millions of vegetarians out there not suffering in any way. I'm happy to admit I'm ignorant, if vegetarianism is the next smoking epidemic, but I think you are potentially just being devil's advocate for this point.

The economy depending on it is a pretty good point that I hadn't thought about, where it's hard to take a moral stance on (assuming that you agree that we don't need meat if we had economically available alternatives).

Oh, I wasn't ever disputing you can live a perfectly healthy life without eating meat. I was saying the leap in logic from "Many vegetarians/vegans don't need to eat meat to be healthy" to "therefore everyone in society doesn't need to eat meat" is wrong.

What do you mean economic alternative? Are you saying if there was no meat industry whatsoever? As long as there's demand for meat (and there always will be since we like to eat it) there'll be jobs in the meat industry. Or are you asking "what if we evolved to eat plants instead and the economy was structured around that?"
