I already consider it Eminem's 4th classic in my head, so that's all that matters to me.

The one I've always found hard to judge a position for - within the top 4 - is SSLP, because I heard it out of context to it's original impact by a year or 2. Having my 'Omg Eminem is so shocking, I love it' moments with MMLP and TES.

I wouldn't necessarily say any of the songs are bad, and there are quite a good amount of brilliant songs and even the poorer songs still have Em spitting like a motherfucker.

But with the way people hate and nitpick on Em nowadays there's no way they'll ever admit he made classic material now that he "fell off."

I don't give a shit what anyone says, there isn't a SINGLE bad song on the album. Maybe a few songs that make you go "eh" like Stronger Than I Was or Asshole but no tracks that make you go "wow this song is shit." There were songs like that on Relapse and Recovery. Not on MMLP2. Not a classic but it's pretty damn close and probably the closest he'll come ever again. Unless his next album is just full of songs like Brainless and Rap God, of those caliber.

I like The Monster, it has grown on me a whole lot.

Still one of the worst tracks from this album but I still enjoy it. So it says a lot of how I feel about the album itself. I believe he balanced it quite perfectly.

I equate teenage girls listening to The Monster or LTWYL in 2013 and Stanning out to me listening to TRSS or Without me when they first dropped and losing my shit. Neither songs represent what Em is best at so I'm really not mad at them tbqfh.

I'm sure those same teenage girls know some of his earlier work anyway lmao. A lot of them have older brothers and sisters who probably listened to at least a little Eminem, for instance. Songs like Lose Yourself and Stan are songs everyone knows.

The Monster has great verses imo, the beat was well done for it being the "pop" track of the album and Rihanna did well. I liked her on this better than on LTWYL. I don't like LTWYL lol I enjoy The Monster a lot more.
