I think when compared to MMLP, the biggest flaw in TES is that it's a sequel. I think it's extremely hard to make an album be better than MMLP simply because of what MMLP did. MMLP had mass appeal, shock value, and revolutionized an entire genre of music. In fact, I think had SSLP been more underground and less commercial, MMLP could've been the most revolutionary album of all time. After such a masterpiece was released, TES was already going to be at a disadvantage. But as an album to album comparison, TES wins all of basic album comparisons for me.
