It wasn't a concept. It was entirely new style he adopted and it's all over the album.

How many times do I have to repeat that the silly/corny shit on Encore is only in the middle of the album? The whole album doesn't sound like Big Weenie or Ass Like That... and at least he was smart enough to keep all those songs together.... creating some sort of coherence... something Recovery lacks.

Encore feels cohesive, I'll give you that. But, if we just look at the songs themselves, it's not good. It's not even okay. It has a total of 2 great songs, 1 good song, 2 meh songs, and 11 bad to horrendous songs.

Not good, but it's not trash. Recovery is a schizophrenic mess of an album. But if you look at a lot of the songs individually, they're not bad. Not good or great, but not bad.

Well, this is just my opinion imo imo

GTC, Space Bound, On Fire, Almost Famous and Seduction are the only songs I like on Recovery. The rest I don't even listen to anymore. They're mediocre-bad.

Majority of Encore is good, and it has some great tracks. The middle section brings it down a little but, but overall is a better album.

Sure. 2 greats: Yellow Brick Road and Like Toy Soldiers. 1 good: Mosh. 2 meh: Mockingbird and Never Enough. 11 bad to horrendous: Everything else. Though I will say Em had a great verse on Spend Some Time. Everything else about it sucked though.
