Headlights being a single would mean Em would have to:

1. Act out the video
2. Talk about it a lot

And I don't think he wants to. When asked about it a couple times already he shot the question down. He couldn't shoot it down if it was a single.

Even the line where he said " expect me to get over him" the way he said it seemed like she cheated on him and she expects him to forget about the guy she was with. He even didnt want dido to sing the hook cuz it would of given it away.
