MMLP2 may be better than Relapse on the whole, but I'll always love the Relapse vibe more. That creepy, bloody, drug addict and psychopath mood is priceless as a rap style, and fits so well to Em. Relapse is not just a guilty pleasure to me. Can't explain my love for this album with words. It just feels so unique. Actually, I love the whole era.

Same Song and Dance, Stay Wide Awake, Music Box and The Warning. Man I would take any of these songs over any song on MMLP2, and I'm not ashamed of saying it. And gawd knows I love MMLP2 too, there are some top 10 EM tracks ever on it but ... Relapse (album + era) just rings a bell. Shit is pure magic.

Anyway, my vote is MMLP 2 because I would be in bad faith if I said Relapse. But still, I guess I enjoy Relapse a lot more at the end of the day.

Rap God is not on the same level as Lose Yourself. You're a fucking idiot if you think it is and should not have an opinion.

Not enough time has passed for me to like Relapse. Encore is so nostalgic. I think Relapse might take another 4 years. When Em is quite done, we'll look back at Eminem's comeback, when it's all over. Recovery & MMLP2 aren't nostalgic. He needs to make songs that sound nostalgic, not songs that are just about reminiscing. We just don't get nostalgic when it comes to MMLP2. We might get nostalgic about MMLP1, but not 2.

Relapse excited me a lot more, for a lot longer...

But MMLP2 has far superior wit and ideas in many areas, and the music feels bigger - not in a pop sense, but shit like RoR, it just feels like more of a proper, memorable song.

Relapse is a far more consistent album and vision.

Pretty hard actually, not even sure how I feel.
