But again, how do you explain this:

According to Em's grandmother: In 1999, Denver a Fan tried to Kiss and Hug Eminem. And Before MMLP/Stan, Eminem only performed ONCE in Denver.

Clearly Stan saying 'we should be together too'...is a hint. A strong hint, that he's bisexual. Because there's no other interpretation for that line.

But if he got his gf pregnant then I don't see how he could be purely gay.

I think we can all agree that Stan went slightly overboard with his admiration for Shady.

I guess Matthew may or may not be gay, his main motive in Bad Guy is revenge for driving Stan to his death and he's either also a sympathiser for gay rights or gay himself. But he doesn't want to fuck Eminem literally, only metaphorically. By burying him.

I think, on further reflection, that saying Stan was gay isn't exactly correct, it'd be more accurate to say that Stan's admiration for Em turned to obsession which eventually became what he took for love, since "we should be together" doesn't necessarily mean he wants to fuck him. It implies that, but eh... lets just say Stan loved Em and leave it at that.
Matthew, OTOH, was gay. Period.
The Frank Ocean reference, the "now who's a faggot, you punk", the "now say you hate homos again" and the fact that the first verse sounds like it was written to a love interest and ultimately "every faggot you slaughtered coming back..." are definite signs that Em wanted it to seem that way.
Also, add Matthew's overly dramatic nature (stereotype, I know) and then it makes even more sense.

I think everyone in this thread is a faggot.

And I agree with what's already been said. Stan was just really really obsessed but Matt was gay.

Plus the obvious reference to ocean/swimming and the fact he's driving over the bridge...fuck, this song has such amazing detail. A lot of MMLP2.

yeah reading this thread im thinking about more shit regarding this song, but the whole album it seems like, every song seems to reveal more as people bring shit up/find shit

I never picked up any homosexual themes in Bad Guy. Matthew was driven purely on revenge.

Haha, so I got another weird question. In Stan, Em says "I wrote it on the Starter cap" .... How do you think Em got Stan's Cap? :confusion:

It took me until this evening to realize the meaning between "Big bro, this is for you, Slim this is for him and Frank Ocean" and "Say you hate homos again". Was Matthew stating that Stan was gay?

interesting...i think something may be there or everyone here is simply over-thinking it. i doubt the lyrics caused us to over-think it, seems weird regardless.
