Not really overrated considering its significance to his career.

Exactly man, it was his introduction to the world

It's crazy seeing him going from performing in front of a crowded room full of people to packed stadiums :flutter:

I was 11. I remember thinking the lyrics really were "got ticked off and ripped Pamela Lee's lips off. Kissed them and said 'I ain't know silicone was supposed to be this soft,' until I bought the album :)

To this day I still watch the video to take myself back. Back when I thought he was some wacky pop singer. Little did I know he'd be considered one of the greatest artists of all time.

I feel that people don't really appreciate what Eminem used to do. Like, I know that his first 3 albums are considered old now. But true fans see it as timeless and still like it. Others feel like he that type of music was something that just came and went. They don't understand the value of Eminem. I'm talking retro Eminem. MMLP2 could have really been a classic. He was on the right track with Bad Guy and Parking Lot, but then the album became something else.

I hate to complain. But MMLP2 could have been a true classic. Evil Twin would have been a classic song if it was perhaps early in the album and he had used his old voice on that track and just went ham. But he didn't. He pulled himself back. Berzerk had a classic first verse, but then he changed the rest of the track into mediocre crap. Rap God is the one song that would have fitted in with a true MMLP 2.

Eminem Base said it best. Em tries to make songs for everybody, not just true fans.
