During that time period of BME, you never saw Em anywhere without Royce. Shit, you even saw SH in the Forever video way before that.
"It ain't love, it's desperation" Eminem knows that Royce is just desperate for fame, and to keep his career relevant, that's why he clings to Eminem so hard.
I don't know how people don't see this, the entire song is OBVIOUSLY about Royce.
