Headlights = best emotional/instrospective song since 2005?

Postby Raul » Feb 15th, '14, 22:06

I'll start this thread by saying When I'm Gone is a great track.

Since When I'm Gone, I think we had...

'The Apple'
'GOAT'
'Difficult'
'Beautiful'
'My Darling'
'Be Careful What You Wish For'
'Déjà Vu'
'Talk 2 Myself'
'Going Through Changes'
'Not Afraid'
'Legacy'
'Stronger than I Waughs'
'Beautiful Pain'
'Headlights'

I think Headlights is #1 of MMLP and definitely top 5 since his comeback, and the best emotional track since When I'm Gone.

What are y'all's opinions on the thread question?

Lol, did autocorrect get you? :p

Personally, it's in my top five on a list of his introspective songs.

IMO it's Headlights > GTC > Déjà Vu > Legacy

#1 of MMLP2? Definitely not. Same old predictable love of introspection I see.

Top 5 from MMLP2 are (scientifically proven):

- Rhyme or Reason
- Brainless
- Rap God
- Legacy
- So Far

And all are better, with more replay value, and more enjoyable.

"Headlights" was shocking at first, and is a dope song, but not even top 5 MMLP2 for me.

As for best emotional track since 05... hmm... potentially, though "Deja Vu" is superb.

I actually had Bad Guy there but... as a song, I don't enjoy it that much.

It's just like super dope for what it is, the storytelling, the voice acting etc. but... in terms of top 5 that I love to listen to and find most enjoyable - I don't think it's top 5.

But as a piece of art, as a piece of work... definitely.

typical for TRShady :shakehead:

A vs B

A wins

Argument: B is trash
