The Monster was well written. The flow's pretty good too.

When I'm Gone sounds like Em was trying to emulate 50's delivery.

I would have to say GTC is his best "emotional" track since then.

Tbh, I think last verse of "Bad GUy" is pretty emotional.

EDIT -

Also why no When I'm Gone LIVE? Why doesn't he do that?!?!

Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again

Deja Vu is still his best song since The Eminem Show.

Yes, but there's also some singles he's featured into that he never performed.
It probably reminds him of his bad times.
And also he's too busy performing The Monster and Won't Back Down.

When I'm Gone is great, why all the hate?! :confusion:
And i wouldn't say Headlights is the "best emotional/instrospective song since 2005" but it's definitely top 3 in my book

Nah for real, lyrics aren't top notch but I like it and the vid is cute

The video sucks. When Eminem sees Hailie in the crowd = worst acting ever, from both Eminem and the girl playing Hailie.

"Daddy's writing a song, the song ain't gon' write itself"...We're expected to accept that the song he's writing at that moment contains the exact same dialogue he's having with his daughter at that moment? That's a bit stupid and ridiculous.

I really enjoy Difficult.

I didn't realize that When I'm Gone was so hated around here and Deja Vu was loved so much

probably never performed just because he's not taking the risk that he did with the " Mockingbird " and started cryin' at the stage. :(
