The Water Temple is fine if you are familiar with it, but, if you're like me and get back into the game after a while of not playing it, you forget a lot of stuff and you end up getting stuck.

In all fairness, the boss is pretty awesome in the Water Temple.

I have never been able to beat this fucking game. I start playing, love it, then get bored of it and stop playing. Then once I try to get back into it, I feel so lost and just give up on it again.

You can do some weird shit with hacks of the original game as well

For example equip spiritual stones or float to see characters only seen in cutscenes like the gods of hyrule

But as of now I just got the hookshot

This game can be aggravating but it always feels like an accomplishment to beat stuff lol
