While some could see this as a W to Eminem,

it's also a L to the Beastie Boys for being in the same group as Vanilla Ice.

I don't see this as ''dick riding''...it's paying respect where it's due. Em is a true genius and an artist a world hasn't seen for a long,long time. Just take a look at how many generations grew up listening to his music and his influence and impact in the music industry and world in general. Finally someone eloquently recognized him for a legend he really is.

I didn't read it all, just the beginning when they talk about his sales compared to hers.

The fact that this dude has rapped about everything from drugs, to raping his mother, sticking umbrellas inside of vaginas and shoving gerbils in his ass through a tube -- to outsell fellow white artists that are country, or pop with much broader, more accessible subject matter/content, is mind boggling.

Especially given the fact he dropped the worst album of his career and went into hiding for five years, then released another critically panned album upon his return and still continues to do stupid numbers 15 years after coming out is insane. It defies logic.

I wouldn't praise The Monster that much. Or at least, I definitely wouldn't use it as an example of MMLP2's beauty.
