Hey guys I have a lot of problems. again..... I know I know but I am losing sleep over all of this. I don't know where to turn.

So anyways, I just picked up a 26 inch Sanyo TV CRT off of Craigslist. I'm trying to play retro games on CRT. And there have been so many problems. I had a 20 inch for a long time but that had to go because the AV cords weren't working on them unless I pressed down hard.

So anyways, please don't tell me that the reason why the old systems don't look great is because they don't look good because they are old and I'm used to seeing better graphics. That is not true. I thought HDTV was bad for old consoles, but I'm here to prove to you that they look just as bad on my CRT and I'm also going to show you that I played Tomb Raider the first one from PS1 on my CRT tv and it looks so horrible. As a matter of fact, I have a side by side image comparison. All of the Tomb Raiders on youtube look so much better than mine. you can clearly see that my image is blurry and really inferior compared to the one on youtube. I don't ever in my life remember Tomb Raider looking so bad. It's not that I care about extremely realistic graphics, but yo this is so unplayable. I can barely see it and it gives me a headache. The one on youtube looked good. Why can't I have that? I went and got a CRT tv like I was supposed to and it hasn't solved the problem. I don't have any loose cords I know of.

My next issue is this. N64. I played Starfox on it and it was okay. But Zelda is extremely blurry. Now I went on youtube and that was not the case in one of the walkthroughs. His game had much more crisp graphics than mine. Mine was hard to see. In fact right when I turn on the game, there seems to be a slight blur. This is NOT how it used to look! And other people seem to say the same thing! What gives? What's going on??? Why is his better than mine? I hate it when people lie and give their little cop out reasoning and say N64's graphics just suck period. That's not my point! My point is that I remember playing N64 games without blurry graphics and I'm jealous of the game that's being played on youtube! What do I do????!!!!!! Somebody please help me!!!!!!!!

Don't you think the consoles might be the problem since they're old? That's probably not it tho since you got the same problem on both, but not all the games. Idk.

You should become a member in a forum that is made specifically for gamers. I am sure you'll get more help there than you get here, considering the problems you have.
