Hey csw621, I wanted to say thanks a lot for posting that link under your "Business" section. I'm the guy who wrote that article. Your link brought a lot of people to my site, so thanks a lot for helping out.

Also, I think you're right on about the songs, good choices, especially "Business."

Thanks man

dvlp said rap god was made in 2011-2012. I doubt the day it dropped was the first time kendrick had heard about it. em even said "That whole 'Rap God' record pretty much from top to bottom is tongue in cheek ... that’s why Kendrick’s verse worked so well because he only said what every rapper’s already thinking, If you don’t want to be the best, then why are you rapping?"

lose yourself, sing for the moment, i think 8 mile is a really powerful song. Rap God probably too.

No, thank you sir. Your site is a breath of fresh air, it feels amazing to read a piece by someone who actually knows what the hell they're talking about explain why Eminem's art is so aurally pleasing. So again, a very sincere thank you.

Additionally 8 Mile was always one of my favorite tracks.

What are we talking about when we say musically? Like technical stuff? Like actual musicianship?

I think Bully has to be up there in terms of rhyme scheme. He keeps the same scheme for the entire song, all 3 verses.

Of course the heavy hitters already mentioned. Lose Yourself, SFTM, TIC.

In terms of actual lyrics, and the images they invoke, and the weight they hold - Stan is up there. I think Stimulate is up there. Why it was scratched from TES, I'll never understand.

By the way, Business is like legit my all time favorite "everyday" Eminem song. I have to be in a certain mood to wanna hear songs like Lose Yourself and his other classics, but I can get down with Business anytime, anywhere.

Do we have a fun fact section on this forum? I need some but don't want to make a thread cuz I feel we have it already.
