I have accepted the fact that old games don't hold up to today's standards. I feel so funny. No I'm being real, not trollin. I used to think that PS1 and N64's graphics held their own against graphics in recent past. I even came on here and called out the graphics of today. Of course it's because I had not seen the old graphics or played them in years. And now that I'm back to playing everything, it has taking me so long to adjust my eyes to the old games like Zelda on 64 and Tomb Raider 1 and Jet Motto 2 on PS1. Holy moly, it's really hard to even see the games. You have to adjust. I really thought it was my tv but have now come to the conclusion that this is how it used to look. Yes, I was fooled by the emulators on youtube. They enhanced the games.

I'm just so surprised how far we've come in games. Kill You was right, we really have come a long long way. I thought we hadn't but holy moly going back and playing them, dam. Now not all of the games have bad graphics, but a lot of them do. I'm just so surprised, it's like I've woken up. But once you do adjust to how they truly looked, you do get goosebumps and start to remember how things weren't always crisp and we had to make the most of what we had. We had no better graphics, well except for PC, so we didn't even know what we were missing. Plus our eyes were already used to it. But Kill You was right. Having said that, I still think a gamer should see value in going back once in a while and visiting old games for historical appreciation & to see how far we've come.

People on here said that those systems didn't age well. I always thought the term aged was a stupid term for video games. Now I see what they mean. The SNES graphics have actually aged better than the N64 graphics. And I think that's because 2D is so basic and they didn't have to do as much. Jesus, I can't believe that I'm just finding all of this out. Nostalgia is a funny thing. It can really fool you!!

Oh & one other thing! Though the graphics are dated, the music on these consoles are pretty sick! I think the audio and music have aged better than the graphics.

Just played Wii u for the first time. Setting it up was a bitch. But omg Skylander... Why do I need those toys to play? I don't get it. And Nintendo Land? There were some SORRY games on there. Sometimes you have to move your body in order to play the games. REALLY GOOFY!! Gamepad is awful, I could understand if it was made for one game.

Well he was right for him. For me, I have the console for Mario, DK, Sonic exclusives, Zelda. I know that the console is only a complimentary one, it''s not the main one. I already came in knowing this. I did buy Mario Baseball though, and will buy other Mario games like Mario Cart, Mario Golf, Smash Bros.

You don't have to move your body to play Nintendo land...and the game is really only fun if you have friends to play it with you.

Skylanders came with the Wii U, which I got a good deal on.

Anyways I'm getting my butt whooped in Donkey Kong, it's real challenging after the first world.

I'm also getting killed in Resident Evil 5 for PS3 and Code Veronica X for PS2 (trying to beat all my older games). Anyone know where I can find cheats? I need to have cheats for every game I play like unlimited ammo. I'm getting my butt whooped.
