First time feeling like you don't know what you're talking about.

That was a sarcastic remark, he followed it up with a proper answer

Not really.

He didn't have much of a reason for MMLP2 being MMLP2 other than for its sake and he kind of tried to vaguely cover some of the themes and create a similar vibe.

But this whole thing of ''it's his perspective on where he's at now'' is horsehit because he does that every single album anyway lmao, when has he NOT done that.

MMLP 1 wasn't just that. It was a concept. MMLP2 didn't really stick to that concept... he just kind of talked on the odd theme or comment on the odd old line or interject a sample here and there.

I just honestly think he didn't know where to go next with a theme so the title was basically for the sake of it. Because when he can't move forward anymore... he looks backwards.
Or maybe. He is trying to show he's still got it at 40. And tried to take over/change the game AGAIN since MMLP1 did that, therefor, trying to do it again MMLP2.

I wonder how fun it is to be 'that pessimistic' member that is always negative about music/artists that are at one point very popular/well liked. I've always wondered, but never had the balls to join in myself.

Are you referring to me?

Because I'm not that at all. Check all my posts and you see me praise Em a lot... but a lot of people here are seriously like... obsessively deluded and defensive to the point of... if you say anything EVER other than TOTAL POSTITIVITY - they react like OMG YOU'RE SO NEGATIVE MAN, EM CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT.

It's literally like fucking insanity

Like... all I said was I don't believe he had much of a reason for it being MMLP2. Other than that I praise his lyricism on it galore, I call Rap God pretty groundbreaking... and on and on; yet if you do anything other than praise praise praise here - you're automatically ''forever negative'' on Em. :facepalm

While some of that is simply not knowing the difference, I put some of it on the sake of rhyming. It should have been 'you and me' in the Stimulate chorus.

Sooo, you and me is wrong??? gotta love English...

Of course he knows how many days November has, and if not him someone of his crew would know. That line is on purpose. Maybe he means that the song is just about something not real...

Time ago there was here a huge debate about if Eminem can grow facial hair.

So yes, it matters. Basically there is not much not talk about right now.

BetterWritingSkills.com wrote:Consider the following sentence: You and I should have lunch.

Is the correct form of this sentence You and I ... or You and me ...? This is a common source of confusion in English.

Fortunately, there's an easy way to decide whether to use I or me in such sentences. All you have to do is drop the word you then try the sentence with I and me one at a time. For example:

I should have lunch.

Me should have lunch.

Clearly the preferred form in this case is I; thus, the original sentence was correct to use you and I.

Here's another example: He'll blame you and I. Drop the word you then try the sentence with I and me one at a time, like so:

He'll blame I.

He'll blame me.

You can see that the second of these is correct. This means that the original sentence should have been: He'll blame you and me.

Easy.

And what was the resolution of that debate? Be it resolved that Em can grow facial hair? Or be it resolved that Em cannot grow facial hair?

As you say, there's not much to talk about. This is about the most interesting thing anyone has brought up in a while. Really.

If something like "you and me" bothers you, a lot of Em's lyrics must. There's so much improper English in MMLP2. For example, "there's no rhyme or no reason for nothing" is a double negative. And in Legacy, "I used to be the type of kid THAT would always think the sky is falling", "that" should be "who".
It's funny these also kind of bother me sometimes but I figure out ways to justify Em's grammar to make it tolerable. For example, with the Legacy example, I tell myself that Em purposely used "that" because as a kid, he hasn't discovered himself as a person yet, he was more of a mere object than a person with an identity so that is why he couldn't use "who" which would mean he had fully discovered himself. Lol I know it's dumb
