dawg i aint talkin about the sales thing directly aimin to it ,, what im talkin about has happned, like they WERE white fans, but not as much as they are now, n as Em made hip hop big , like made it more international, thru his 8 Mile most importantly
n 2000-6, no change in music but lots of new sick artists came along , they was never no change in music, only the artists was either killed or they fell off
8-mile = good music, thats wat made it famous, eminems whiteness had nothing to do with it. Eminem aint made hip hop big by his mere existance.
This change IS NOTHING, compared to the effect that happened before, if in the times of Ice cubes death certificate people had computers and rewritable cds, eminem would be nothing... I bet u got ur first computer in the time of 2003 and started listning to his music aorund that time. Its Not about WHite/black fans, its all fans, there are more hip hop fans in general, eminem has absolutely no reason to get credit for something that was bound to happen.
Who cares about how many new artists come along, apreciation for real hip hop is gone, the best rappers are stuck in the underground only because the idustry is feeding u bullshit from eminems spoon. Sick artists lmao...
Who 50cent? Obie? Game? lmao... those are average rappers that did nothing for hip hop and dont even sound fresh.
Eminem had a 3 year rule (2000-2003) he broke sales records not because he was doper than Rakim or D12 were better than wu-tang, it was because he was comercialised in the time of heavey music industry expansion.
