BME Hell: The Sequel Discussion

Just finished listening to it for the first time in at least a year. Production is pretty sick overall, rapping is great, their back and forth shit is seamless...I still can't get over what they did on the third verse to I'm On Everything, it's almost like one person.

I just wish Royce hadn't gotten so desperate for radio play, because Lighters sticks out in the worst possible way. I'd definitely like to see these two do an album together though, maybe with some more two-sided storytelling like The Reunion. Especially since it seems like Royce has finally come back from the dead and Eminem's better than he's been in 12 years. Just anything in between his solo albums so the wait's not so excruciatingly long, whether it be with Royce or D12, I don't even care anymore. Just something.

Absolutely.

MMLP2 is the Eminem album that I think I've personally been waiting for since he came back. A bit overdue, but it is a great album filled with sharp, dense lyricism.

Royce is killing it recently too and if the two of them actually sat down and thought of a conceptual album to carve out, it could turn out to be incredible.

The first time I listened to the album was about 12 hours after it leaked.
I had my headphones on, the volume on deafening, and people later told me I was screaming stuff like "holy shit, holy fucking shit" and "fuck yes" and "he did NOT just say that".

There isnt any special sounding beat on it. All sounds the same and just average!

I think he meant beats. But I like MMLP2's beats better tbh.

Beats are still better on MMLP2 though. Everything about MMLP2 is better. That's not to say this was a bad project because it wasn't. It was great.
