The Reunion > half of MMLP2

1st of all, not a troll thread. MMLP2 is still a 7.5/10 album for me, but...

Was bumping BME - H:TS today, after a long time, and I enjoyed the fuck out of the album, especially this one song. Thinking about it now, I'd like MMLP2 even more if the album went that way... I'm talking about delivery/voice and flow. On The Reunion Em has a smooth, not choppy, flow and his delivery isn't as forced as in some MMLP2 songs.

The beat, by Sid Roams, is also pretty great imo. MMLP2 has some dope production, but some beats on the album are pretty average, like... The Monster, Survival, STIA, Asshole, Desperation, So Much Better... Evil Twin and The Reunion are beats that are similar and I think an album with that kind of sound would be fantastic.

Also, I love the verses, the Relapse references, Royce's verses are dope as well...

I'd say: The Reunion > So Much Better, Survival, Asshole, STIA, The Monster, Berzerk

I remember when HTS leaked everyone was sayin' that The Reunion is very 'MMLP-ish', it's true and it's good that he went in that direction and gave us MMLP2

It was an 8 since forever, now it dropped a lil bit after a few listens.

Relapse is also a 7.5, I honestly think both are on the same level.
