I don't think there is anything forced tbh .. there is a difference in forced delivery and forced rhymes, so you might wanna elaborate what you really mean

By forced I mean that Em made her voice resemble his old albums. Berzerk, for example. I love the song, but when the 1st verse hits I always think Em's delivery was forced to resemble SSLP-MMLP funny singles, when, though, he can do a dope delivery without screaming or 'bending the voice' like this (The Reunion).

Forced delivery, imo. But then again... I still love the album. The focus of this thread is praising The Reunion. It could perfectly fit MMLP2 and I just said the album could be even better if the production/delivery was on that way.

I've been listening to Hell: The Sequel lately as well and yes some of the songs are fucking amazing. The Reunion is great too but MMLP 2 is still GOAT

Theres a difference between forced rhyming/delivery and strange/different artistic choices. Forced implies there was some sort of elementary thought process going on. We know full well thats exactly how he wanted it to sound, i wouldnt say any of it was forced, just some of it was odd. I think force in this context is like the voice projection. Like, it's higher pitch in Berzerk so it's sorta forced. Like, it's not really his voice but he forces himself to sound high pitch. My rhymes on a raaaaaahaaaaaag

Exactly. Nice post - annoys me when I see people referring to his intentionally emphasized delivery and flows like that as ''forced'', as if he unintentionally failed at making it smooth / conversational lmao.

It's incredibly easy for Em to rhyme and to rhyme and flow naturally, he's just trying to go beyond that and use every tactic possible to dramatize new flows and ways of delivering rhymes and lines... whether or not you like it is a different story, but the term ''forced'' for the example of ''Bad Guy'' isn't a good use of that term.

An example of a forced flow would be when rappers very quickly rap the end of a line to fit it in rhythmically... in comparison to Em having total control and knowing emphasis on his flow in ''Bad Guy'' and WANTING it to sound exactly as you hear it. It's not a failure of rhythm or flow, it's an intended effect, and rhythmically on-point.
