I think the wording is 100% original, but it has been a phrase for a little while of different variations, although it is uncommon.

Yeah, I've heard similar things like Dre on Encore (I think it was Encore), and a few more others I can't think of. I think that's why it threw me off.

Not in 2009I thought Asleep in the Bread Aisle was terrible. I still do. He's come a long way, though. Listening to interviews where he's talking about the label pushing for him to perform a ghost written I Love College Pt. II really shines a light on how things were.

Yeah, I think I have to agree with pretty much everything you said here. His good songs are probably why I don't entirely dismiss his work. Because I do love his style, but not always his attempts at it.
