I listen to Slaughterhouse for a lot of the same reasons I listen to metal. It just sounds great and it's easy to jam to for me. They all sound great on the mic and have no problem flowing with great beats. It just SOUNDS great and sometimes that's all I need. Just as long as the lyrics aren't insanely cringe-worthy it works for me. Every now and then I'll listen to them for some great lyrics but it's not always about that. Hearing Royce just say fuck all these bullshit trends on Party or hearing them rhyme for days is exactly what I want to hear sometimes. Aside from like.... half of WTOH most beats they rap over are great and just hearing them flow while I'm playing video games, driving around (my job is delivering pizza so I drive A LOT) or just hanging out is amazing. It's rarely something I just sit down and really listen to like Eminem or Hopsin, but everything they put out sounds great and sometimes that's all I want from my music. The voice is also an instrument and in that instance, Slaughterhouse has NAILED it.

That's why I love Slaughterhouse.
