thread title and first 2 lines of the OP will clear your mind

Nah, sometimes when I say "I don't understand" or "I'm confused", is isn't as much a request for clarification as it is my equivalent of sliding dem panties to the side before verbal rape.
To clarify; I understand perfectly why you made the thread, it's clearly some asinine "let's all laugh at how awful we think Recovery is now" wankfest because surely the fact that opinions change over time can't be that surprising.
I might be in my feelings a little bit because I happen to like Recovery. Whatever. Carry on.

Same. I think people diss it now cus when it came out we all loved it so much we over played it and got bored. When Recovery first came out I LOVED LTWYL, now I cant stand to listen to it cus it was so overplayed on radio. I actually like The Monster now though (off topic) cus I havent listened to the radio in YEARS.

Singin' "Bagpipes from Baghdad" again
In my dad's drag draggin' a faggot in a Glad bag
Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line
Forgive me father, for I have sinned
But hip hop has left me brainwashed with a violent streak

It's a good album, like a 7/10.

I definitely felt it was better than I feel it is now...

Although my view hasn't changed that much tbh.

I definitely wouldn't call it top 3 Em albums, that was OTT of me for sure - but whenever I listen to it... I think all the songs are really strong and it feels like a solid, impactful album.

And I had a lot of fun listening to it in that time period... it has an atmosphere in my mind.

In comparison to what he is now - there is some horrendous lyricism on the album, but there's also some outstanding lyricism; a lot in fact, and it is also just Em trying to adapt to trends which is artistically disappointing, but he finds ways of making the content powerful and unique to him at the same time.

Overall I'd say it's a very good album. Not a classic and probably not GREAT... but very good, very enjoyable and much of the material (aside from the production) holds up, and is powerful.

Great album
the fresh David Koresh

Stuck out like a sore thumb, so I gave them the finger
There is only one God, the Crippled Godd
All I have in this world is a pistol and a promise, a fist full of dollars, a list full of problems...

I really don't like Recovery as a whole album but it has some great songs though
