Yeezus is my least favorite Kanye album tho. But however:
First of all the beats are innovative and enjoyable, if I listen to Em for too long I usually get tired of the sound of the music and switch to Kanye cause he got both intense and laid back songs to chill to. Eminem haven't got one song that's laid back you can chill to. (Not gonna make it Em vs Kanye tho.) I just love Kanye's attitude and how he's able to put his feelings into his music. What's great about yeezus is the emotions in songs like black skinhead, new slaves, blood on the leaves, bound 2, I am a god, guilt trip and hold my liquor. His attitude in songs like black skinhead, new slaves, on sight, I am a god, send it up and I'm in it. Also he's not afraid to speak his mind, the whole album is a big fuck you to everybody wanting pop hits already from track 1. On sight is the opposite of what people wanted, and he knows it. then he put a goat sample in the middle of the song for a couple of seconds just to show people he still can make hits if he wants, but that's not what this album is. Lastly, the outro of new slaves is the best minute of music I've heard my whole life. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I dont think the beats are innovative, or that Kanye has some (or any) ability to express emotions that is particularly unique, and I don't particularly agree with anything you said.
I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't something on Yeezus that I'm not getting.
Thanks, fam.

Stronger Than I Was...influenced by Jimmy Iovine. :facepalm2

Jimmy Iovine: Hey Marshall, how about rhyming "19 footer" with "finally stood up"?

Eminem: No problem, Mr Iovine, sir. You are the king of multis.

Jimmy Iovine: And then in the singing part, rhyme "couldn't think of the words to say" with "put 'em in a verse to lay." It's misaligned, but it's still a good multisyllabic rhyme.

Eminem: Sir, yes, sir! Anything for Interscope!

Yes. I was also at the board meeting where Jimmy Iovine told Eminem to do an A-B-A-B rhyme scheme in the third verse of The Monster because A-B-A-B rhyme schemes help to move more units. Everybody who went to business school knows that.

Jimmy nor Interscope had no saying when it came to putting STIW on MMLP2. Its a great song and Em produced it himself and i can assure you 100% he fought to have it on the album. The Monster was made with the intent of radio play but it fits the cohesiveness of the album...

Something Don't Front or Baby do not achieve.

If they were put on the album they would sound completely out of place and be a sonic mess. The album flows perfectly as is. But I do agree, GD fits right before Rap God imo. that is the only thing i regret the album not having.

Alchemist is a great producer, but just because you suffer from an infatuation with a producer that doesn't appear on the album, doesn't mean its a disappointing album.

Em's a 41 year old rap veteran that earned Interscope unimaginable amounts of money; he's not a puppet.

Aye Menzo I respect your opinion but there is a contract and I don't care how MUCH you sold you're not bigger than the GAME plain and simple, Now what I meant about The Monster and Stronger Than I was they pretty much got Jimmy written all over it.

imagine eminem actually hated xzibit and snoop and other people he collaborated with before and after relapse he's like "fuck that shit, i'mma collab with people i like, label can't tell me that i shouldn't be doing songs with rihanna"

No but tbh people don't understand, when they say "why doesn't em collab with good rappers like before".
It's because they're not relevant anymore, skills or no skills they were relevant at a time and it was a good move, you can't expect em to collab with them when they're not even recognized these days. Even before it was all because he had to collab with people who were famous at the time, even though they did good music and not shit like today.

wtf is snoop gonna do now? a reggea chorus on an em song?

EDIT:
I agree with Trex Below, why is every bad song or radio song blamed on the label now? isn't there a chance that em thinks it's genuinly dope?
