Lana Del Rey‘s “West Coast” is set to premiere Monday (April 14) on BBC Radio. The lead single off Ultraviolence will get its first spin on Fearne Cotton’s show (which starts at 10 a.m. local time), according to Gigwise, citing a Guardian journalist who confirmed the news on Twitter.

Lana has yet to announce a date for the song, however Thursday she unveiled the single artwork. The singer is performing at Coachella on Sunday, so it’s pretty likely we’ll all get to hear a live rendition of the song from fan-shot video a few hours before the official version drops.

I love how it feels like this album might have a new sound.

It's got that chill acoustic guitar vibe to it whereas Born To Die was very orchestral. I'm excited.

I love when she sings those few spanish words...

I can see my sweet boy swinging
He's crazy and Cubano como yo my love
On the balcony and I'm singing
Move baby, move baby, I’m in love

The whole hook is great...

I posted my thoughts in the UV thread but I'll say it again for emphasis. Song is fucking beast.

I think it was 108 on the charts when it first dropped, then it climbed to 42 a few hours later. I don't know where it is now, but I think this album will put her on top. Maybe not Adele's 21 on top, but she's gonna do a lot better commercially.

I can't stop playing the fucking song. Work with Eminem already Lana. Fuck.

I still love Lana because you don't know who she actually is. Her songs sometimes say one thing in one and another thing in another song.

I don't think I like any of her unreleased shit. I'm trying to recall. Well, outside of Queen Of Disaster which is awesome.

Come to think of it, I don 't think I like any artist's unreleased shit. Even Em.

Unreleased is usually unreleased for a reason.

Although Fack was released, so you never know with these things.

it's all an elaborate persona. lana del rey is as much of a fictional character as slim shady, and i love that. in reality, she's lizzy grant. she's had a troubled life. she was in rehab by the time she was a young teen, and she has a history of sexual abuse which is often hinted at in her lyrics. :'(

Yeah, sometimes I really can't figure her out. At times i find her attractive but there are times I find her a turnoff especially in her music videos. For most female artists, you would generally know the direction their music wanna go. For Lana, you can't tell what she wants her music to convey. Sometimes she's so happy and then she's also suicidal. Very confusing.

Born to Die

Young and beautiful

National Anthem

And yeah Black beauty should be on Ultraviolence, but it was leaked, it's a great song.

God this artist it's so... FUCK...

I usually just hear Hip-Hop but she it's just perfect. I mean i hear The Born Of Die album and i don't find ANY bad song. I didn't find masterpieces also but almost the worst songs are 8,5/10 and the bests are 9,5/10.

I CANT FUCKING BELIEVE the score of the album on Metacritic. Fucking assholes. Just for the fact that Born To Die have the same score than Bangerz you can see that the critics are idiots.

Beautiful artist, beautiful voice, great and deeper lyrics, DAMN SHE IT'S REALLY PERFECT.

The only thing that i want on his next album it's she talking about other themes, i love when she sings romantic songs but it would be great if she sings about other things, i don't know.
