D12 guys can bring the Real Slim Shady back!

Postby JAGODA » Apr 22nd, '14, 17:47

Yeah, I really think so. Especially Kuniva and Swift because I think these two guys didn't change much. They're still super funny guys and they still represent hardcore rap! I really think they can inspire him and can make him bring the Shady humour back.

He really should start working with these guys again!

They don't represent hardcore rap they represent irrelevant rap.

It still looks as if only Kuniva and Swift are rocking D12, It's sad that they just try to keep alive D12 and the other members don't give a fuck.

And if he pulled out with the exact same type of Slim Shady type humor, a lot of you would be like "Look at this dude tryna relive his glory days Image hang up the mic, breh. Shit is embarrassing at his age."

Nobody on this forum would say that.

There are people here that like Relapse more than MMLP2....

But when Relapse dropped, a lot of people hated on it. Then Recovery dropped. And then people at first loved Recovery, then hated it and started going "You know, maybe Relapse isn't so bad. Image" Then Hell: The Sequel dropped. Rinse and repeat. It's a trend now to hate Em's new shit until his new shit becomes his old shit. Point is, I don't understand why a lot of these folks won't let the nostalgia fog go away from their eyes. I'm not gonna expect a 41 year old man to keep doing the same antics he was doing at 26. It's all personal preference, but I'm not gonna say D12 can bring Shady out cause Shady more or less was on MMLP2. He just wasn't wearing a Jason mask and overalls with a chainsaw going off for people to see it. Image

This might actually be what I like the most about his attitude on MMLP2.

It's a good thing he didn't too, because you know he'd get crucified about it until this upcoming Christmas. People don't want Slim Shady in itself, they want Angry Eminem. Cause the difference now is, Eminem isn't nearly as angry as he was back then. (and for legitimate reasons.)

Most people change, grow up, mature and evolve over time. Evidently, Eminem isn't an exception to that rule. And that's a good thing. I don't know, but I would rather watch an artist change and develop over time, rather than just watch them do the same old shit over and over again.

I'm always hoping man, D12 would move some good numbers for Shady Records too.

They both demonstrate good examples of good rapping, especially modern day Kuniva.

100% agree with this ^

Yeah I think he'd write some bawse new D12 verses.

He writes slightly wittier when with them, obviously trying to out-do the others...

His wit and skill is back to seriously high-standards doe. Recovery was in some ways his lowest point.

point taken, but in all fairness, bizarre is pretty talentless these days, and even in his "prime," he was never good. then again, 50's new song is about as bad as bizarre's new shit. everybody fell the fuck off once em stopped paying attention to them.

Not entirely true, I mean Kuniva and Swift improved. Porter's always active, considering he's with Em at every performance. Bizarre was never about being dope, it added charm to D12. Every single one of them did.

But yes, no one on this bad Earth should ever deny his mediocrity as a rapper in D12.

Bizarre raps bad on purpose.
Listen to his demos and compare them to Devil's Night.
2 different cats.

Slim Shady on the other hand has been consistent, for the most part.
