I like David Mitchell also :y:

He's always on top form when he's on panel shows. I really like Peep Show as well. This sketch is also a classic:

Yeah, i'll go with that. He's a really talented writer with a dash of dry humour . I liked his thought provoking series called Black Mirror. Newswipe and Gameswipe are great too.

I think Gervais is a 2 trick pony tbh. He struck gold with The Office and i loved Extras but i think everything he's done since is subpar. And everything he acts in, he always plays the same awkward character. He's fallen off for me, Merchant is slept on, i think he's well funnier than Gervais

Merchant's HBO programme was a let down, as was Derek (Derek was the better of the two, imo). But both of the shows were soloa performances, so they are obviously better as a duo.

Karl Pilkington is hilarious, and makes me genuinely laugh the most.

I'm a fan of George Carlin, Loius CK, Ricky Gervais, Chris Rock, Larry David, Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Dave Chappelle and Sean Lock.

Christopher Hitchens, although obviously not a comedian, was hilarious.

The Office (UK) is hands down my favourite TV comedy series of all time. It's brilliant. That being said, I think he's regressed since as you mentioned. I really enjoyed The Office, Extras, and The Ricky Gervais Show, where they turned the best bits from the podcast into an animated series. However, I think that Derek is terrible.

Stephen Merchant is the man; absolute player. I think he's the funnier of the two, also. I enjoyed his stand-up Hello Ladies, but I've never seen the HBO programme of the same title.

Yeah, The Office is my all time fave too, although it's gonna take a while before i can actually watch it again, i watched the shit out of it, lol.. Merchants HBO series was poor, like Crashband said, there's loads of recycled material in it. Pilkington is an absolute legend, but there's only so far he can go with what he does before he starts to become boring. I like Sean Lock as well, i watch 8 out of ten almost every night, he comes out with some classic random shit haha

George Carlin
Daniel Tosh
Dave Chapelle
Kevin Hart
Louis C.K.
Bill Hicks
Old Dane Cook
Katt Williams

As far as comedic actors go:
Seth Rogan
Jonah Hill
Jason Segal
Adam Sandler
Justin Long
Peter Dinklage (for his role of Tyrion in GOT)
Jim Parsons (Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory)

Just to name a few, I love a bunch of comedic actors though.
