Nicki is fuckable, not necessarily attractive. You wouldn't fuck her if she was down for it right this moment?

Not all these guys are stand-ups, and none of this is in any particular order:

George Carlin (GOAT)

Louis CK (2nd GOAT)

Ricky Gervais (Everything he did 2001-2007 was gold, he disappeared up his own ass after that point)

Matt Stone & Trey Parker (Trey Parker obviously being the funnier and more talented of the two)

Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat and Ali G on Da Ali G Show are brilliant)

Norm Macdonald (his material isn't all that clever or great, but he has such a likeable personality)

Chris Lilley (I enjoyed We Can Be Heroes and Summer Heights High)

Dave Chappelle (might be the most naturally funny performer of all these guys)

Ellen Degeneres (just kidding, women aren't funny)

Yeah. Cool show. Larry David's name probably deserves a place in the list of great comedians.

As for Jerry Seinfeld...I wouldn't call any of his stuff brilliant. He has a few funny observations but I don't think he's on the level of the top guys.

Regarding Jerry, I agree. I actually found him pretty unfunny, and even quite slow to grasp things on an interview with him, Louis CK, Ricky Gervais and Chris Rock.

He's better as a writer than a stand-up, imo.

Tina Fey, as a writer, is actually really funny.

He is one of those type of comedians, but he's perfected it, so to speak.

Mean Girls and 30 Rock are gr8. Can't imagine her being that funny as a stand-up though.

Jonah Hill is also extremely funny.

I noticed that, also.

Sacha Baron Cohen was fearless.

It was weird, he came across as kinda stupid, lol. But, even that isn't as bad as him not being very funny, lol.

Seinfield's p. damn good tho

Hesky, you not appreciating Kendrick is your only flaw in my opinion.

I wouldn't have complained if he did. But Jay Leto and Michael Fassbender were easily worthy winners too.

Potential unpopular onion: Bradley Cooper's was by far the best performance in American Hustle.

Horse wrote:in all fairness, I haven't really watched him, but jerry seinfeld always struck me as one of those hacky "and what's the deal with airline food?!" stand-up comedians.

To be fair, he pretty much pioneered that style of comedy and it wasn't cliched when he did it. That stereotype pretty much stems from him.

It takes skill to examine the mundane and come up with creative observations like he does. But he doesn't really have any absolute classic bits like all the great ones seem to do.

Hesky wrote:Sacha Baron Cohen was fearless.

He really was. He was prepared to do anything for his comedy.

He's a superb actor. He says such outrageous shit in-character and he just keeps a straight face like it's nothing. And he seems to have no problem blatantly insulting people to their face without fear of getting punched or even killed. There's something not right up in his head, LOL.

Bill Hicks... I want to give him a hug and tell him he did a great job and he should be proud of what he accomplished.

George Carlin... I want to exchange glances or handshakes and somehow let him know telepathically how much I respect what he has done.

Louis CK... Uncompromising artist, genius, good guy. Just want to continue to support his work and enjoy whatever he puts out.

But there you go, fuckers.
