I only say that because my friend directed a POV schizophrenic simulator for University (college). It looks almost identical.

I just don't see how Spike Lee could be happy with this? His films have some of the dopest camera movement ever.

The video's grown on me but I'm still not convinced. I thought it should've been predominantly set at night, not even because of the song title but the whole vibe of the song in general I think it had a flood lit nighttime feel. I agree some of the shots were basic as fuck too, needed more of a story to it, feel the the ending almost came out of nowhere and it just seemed rushed. Also they only used a handful of locations which were pretty basic too, no shots of Em really showing his emotion in relation to the subject matter of the song or anything..

That loooong, drawn out crane shot as Debbie and Em drive in different directions hurts me every time I watch the video. It feels uncomfortable and awkward because it doesn't match the pace of the song at all. If I had to find a 'worst part' for this video, it's that. It's like they ran out of time that day and forgot a couple angles.
